The R. C. M. Academy (the Military Academy of Canada) was founded in 2005 by Mr. Marvin Watson, the Commandant and Chief Director General of the Academy. Mr. Watson is a commissioned officer in the Canadian Forces. RCMA is a not-for-profit privately operated military educational establishment with a significant difference. The Academy offers students the opportunity to develop strong leadership skills and achieve academic excellence in a challenging world.
Mr. Watson's fundamental goal for the RCMA is to create an environment where students of all economic and ethnic backgrounds can succeed. That RCMA be an educational institution whose programs are structured using military structures, disciplines and traditions, while placing great emphasis on education, leadership, athletics and youth development.
The academy's objective is to provide students with the tools and support to facilitate achieving their post secondary career goals. The school will guide them through goal setting and curriculum selection to provide students with a quality education.
Our faculty comes from various areas of expertise such as the military (navy, army and air force), School Boards, Police Forces, and other professions.
